Return Eligibility

  • Damaged or Defective Items – Visible damage or manufacturing defect
  • Incorrect Product – Wrong product or wrong size delivered
  • Unfixable Fabric Issues – Defects in fabric or finishing
  • Condition Requirements – Unused, unwashed, tags intact
  • Time Limit (Non-EU) – Report within 3 days (72 hours) of delivery
  • Time Limit (EU Customers) – 14-day cooling-off period
  • Non-Returnable Items – Custom-stitched, made-to-measure, pre-stitched with custom blouse, items missing tags, also refer below mentioned Color, Design & Fabric Disclaimer, Beads, Sequin & Embroidery Policy.

How to Return a Product

  • Wait for Instructions – Follow our confirmation email for next steps
  • Ship to Address – Use our official return address below

Shipping and Return Charges

  • Customer Responsibility – Return shipping costs borne by customer (unless our error)
  • Non-Refundable Charges – Forward and return shipping not refunded
  • EU Returns – Customer pays return shipping unless stated otherwise

Refund Process

  • Inspection First – Refund issued after item passes quality check
  • Processing Time – Within 10 business days (EU: 7 business days)
  • Bank/Card Delay – Additional 2–5 business days for funds to reflect

Returns & Cancellations

  • Cancellation Window – Within 24 hours of placing order
  • Processing Stage – No cancellation after stitching or processing starts
  • EU Customer Rights – 14-day cancellation with unused, original-condition product

Color, Design & Fabric Disclaimer

  • Minor Variations – Shade/texture/embellishment differences can occur due to dye lots, lighting, craft techniques—not defects.

Beads, Sequin & Embroidery Policy

  • Handwork Shedding – Minor bead/sequin/mirror fallout during transit/wear is normal—not eligible for return.

We have a 3-day return policy, which means you have 3 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@thedesigneroutfit.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the "Return Shipping Address" as mentioned above.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Color, Design & Fabric Disclaimer
Please note:

  • Slight variations in color may occur due to lighting, fabric dyes, or screen resolutions
  • Raw silks, brocades, khadi, and similar textiles may show thread lines or weave textures—this is not a defect
  • Embellishments such as sequins, beads, and mirrors may loosen or shed slightly during transit or wear; this is normal and not considered damage

Beads, Sequin & Embroidery Policy
Products with intricate handwork may shed embellishments during shipping or wear. This is a known characteristic of these garments. Returns will not be accepted for minor bead/sequin fallout.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 to 15 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
